Engineered Yarns for Protective Performance

Buhler Quality Yarns spins high performance, inherently flame resistant yarns for the industrial, protective, and technical apparel markets. Built on decades of fine count spinning expertise, our modacrylic, TENCEL, and aramid yarns are engineered for the fabrics that protect workers in the world's most demanding conditions.

Inherently FR

Protection spun into the fiber itself, not applied as a finish that washes out over the life of the garment.

Built to Blend

Modacrylic, lyocell, and aramid families combined to balance protection, comfort, durability, and cost.

Who we are

A spinner that works inside your spec, not around it.

We work as a technical partner, not only a supplier. We help mills and brands select and refine fiber blends that meet specific certification, hand feel, and cost targets before a fabric ever goes into production.

Made in the USA

Still spinning Supima in Jefferson, Georgia.

Buhler is one of the last spinners of Supima cotton yarn in the United States. That capability did not go anywhere when the protective work grew. The same fine count discipline that lets us spin extra long staple cotton is what lets us hold a count on modacrylic and aramid.
